“The Town of Nothing” Goes on Tour
If you haven’t read it yet, you should. And here’s your opportunity: “The Town of Nothing” is going on tour. All proceeds going to support the West Kootenay Eco Society to cover legal expenses of the judicial review of the Jumbo Glacier Mountain Resort Municipality.
“The Town of Nothing” is set in a beautiful mountain valley with lush illustrations of the animals and places. The place is quite something, especially to the people and animals who have always lived there, but the “Nothing” is the town that isn’t there. The text is a series of puns on the word “nothing.” The political component some of you might detect is more subtle than overt. The book is a delight to kids and adults.
