Feb. 23: Cranbrook: Politics, Geography and Environmental Assessment: Reflections on the Struggle over the Jumbo Valley 

We are happy to co-host a screening of “Jumbo Wild” with the Columbia Mountains Institute of Applied Ecology “Environmental and Social Assessment Forum” as part of the Tuesday evening keynote presentation with Dr. Cam Owens. Dr. Owens’ doctoral dissertation interrogated land use planning and environmental assessment in the province grounded in an in-depth case study of the contentious Jumbo Glacier Resort review.
